Women’s Edition

Preparing Women for the Workforce  from the Inside Out

A pilot employment-readiness and well-being program that strengthens confidence, resilience,

and the internal mindset women need to re-enter the workforce with clarity and purpose.

Through workshops, guided reflection, and practical mindset tools, participants reconnect

with their strengths, rebuild self-belief, and develop the emotional alignment needed to thrive

in today’s workforce.

Beyond Résumés: Preparing Women From the Inside Out

Launchpad Canada – Women’s Edition is not a traditional job-search workshop.
Instead of focusing only on résumés and interviews, the program strengthens the inner readiness women need to re-enter the workforce with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Through guided reflection, practical mindset tools, and supportive group conversations, participants reconnect with their strengths, rebuild self-belief, and shift the internal narratives that often hold them back.

The program is designed to help women develop emotional resilience, strengthen motivation, and cultivate the alignment needed to engage more confidently with employment and workplace opportunities.

Participants are supported to leave with renewed clarity, a stronger sense of direction, and increased confidence to pursue meaningful opportunities with greater impact and stability.

Confidence & Mindset Reset

A pilot mindset-focused workshop designed to support confidence-building, strengthen inner resilience, and address limiting beliefs that often hold women back from re-entering the workforce.

Through guided reflection, facilitated discussions, and practical mindset tools, participants reconnect with their strengths, shift unhelpful internal narratives, and build the emotional stability needed to navigate change, workplace expectations, and new opportunities.

The program supports women in strengthening clarity, motivation, and self-trust to engage more confidently with employment and training pathways.

Skills for Employment

A mindset-driven employment readiness component that prepares participants internally — not by focusing solely on résumés or job-search techniques, but by strengthening attitudes, confidence, emotional resilience, and professional self-belief.

Participants learn how to shift limiting beliefs, develop a growth-oriented professional mindset, increase self-efficacy, and show up with clarity and purpose.

This approach supports participants to engage more effectively with employment or training pathways they choose.

Women’s Workforce

A supportive workforce re-entry program that helps women rebuild the inner foundations needed to return to the workforce with confidence and stability.

Rather than emphasizing procedural job-search steps, the program focuses on strengthening self-belief, identity, motivation, communication mindset, and emotional readiness for the workplace.

Participants are supported to leave with renewed clarity, resilience, and increased internal capacity to engage with employment services, training opportunities, or job placements more effectively and sustainably.

2025 November Seminar

Launchpad Canada – Women’s Edition November 2025 | Whitby, Ontario

In November 2025, Tiny Lanterns Community Foundation delivered the Launchpad Canada – Women’s Edition seminar in Whitby, supporting multicultural newcomer women as they navigate employment, financial stability, and integration in Canada.

Delivered in a small-group setting (under 20 participants), the seminar provided practical tools, system literacy, and confidence-building support tailored to the lived realities of newcomer women. The program intentionally combined capacity building with immediate support, including immediate supports, such as food gift cards, to help alleviate short-term financial pressures.

This model reflects Tiny Lanterns’ commitment to dignified, impact-driven programming — meeting urgent needs while empowering long-term economic participation.

2026 January Seminar (Oshawa, On)

Confidence & Mindset Reset is a foundational professional-readiness seminar designed to support women who are preparing to re-enter the workforce after a period of disruption, transition, or caregiving.

Delivered in Oshawa, Ontario, this session addresses a critical yet often overlooked barrier to employment: the internal impact of prolonged uncertainty, reduced confidence, and identity disruption that many women experience when returning to work.

Through guided reflection, practical frameworks, and facilitated discussion, participants are supported to:

  • Rebuild professional confidence and self-trust

  • Restore clarity around personal strengths, skills, and direction

  • Re-establish internal alignment between values, capacity, and goals

  • Reduce anxiety related to job search, interviews, and workplace re-entry

The seminar is non-clinical, inclusive, and trauma-informed, creating a safe and respectful environment for women from diverse backgrounds, including newcomers, caregivers, women returning after illness, and those affected by economic instability.
